How to Use Single Point Bending Beam Load Cells
1. Select the Correct Load Cell
Capacity β Choose a load cell rated for 1.5β2 times your maximum expected load.
Material β Stainless steel for corrosive/harsh environments, aluminum for general use.
Certification β For trade use, pick OIML/ISO certified models.
2. Mount Properly
Fix the load cell securely to the base plate using the designated mounting holes.
Ensure the loading platform or scale plate is attached at the top side of the load cell.
Use the recommended bolts and torque values from the manufacturer.
Avoid welding or drilling near the strain gauge area.
3. Wiring & Connections
Connect the wires to your weighing controller/indicator:
Excitation + (red)
Excitation β (black)
Signal + (green)
Signal β (white)
Keep cables away from strong electrical noise (motors, inverters).

4. Calibration
Power up the system and zero the indicator with no load.
